Frequently asked questions

Are sessions offered in person or online?

Both! I currently offer in-person sessions at my Kentucky office, as well as virtual appointments through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform integrated with SimplePractice.

For clients located in Kentucky, you can choose either in-person or virtual sessions based on what works best for your schedule and needs.

For clients located in Ohio, I am currently offering virtual sessions only.

Where is your office located?

The office is located in downtown Georgetown, right above Hoggy’s ice cream. My suite is on the second floor, accessible by stairs only. If accommodations are needed, please let me know, so we can explore arrangements together.

What are your fees and do you accept insurance?

Yes, I do accept some commercial insurance plans for Kentucky client’s only. Currently, I am in-network with Anthem, United Health Care, and Aetna insurances. Clients with these insurance carriers can utilize their benefits for services.

For Ohio clients, I am currently self-pay only. I am not in network with any Ohio insurance plans.

For those who have other insurance plans or desire to be self-pay, intake sessions are $150 and follow-up sessions are $120. I do offer a sliding scale that can be discussed during the initial consultation call, if needed. I am also able to provide a Super Bill that you can submit to your insurance company to assist with reimbursement for insurance companies that I am not in-network with.

Do you allow mothers to bring their babies in with them for sessions?

Absolutely! I welcome mothers to bring babies to session if needed for feeding or comfort purposes.

Do you prescribe medication?

As a therapist, I am not trained in prescribing medication. However, I can consult with your Primary Care Doctor or offer information for psychiatric services in your area to assist with medication, if desired.

How long does therapy take?

Therapy is a unique journey, and there is no set time frame. Together during the intake, we can talk about together how often sessions may be needed and get an idea for how long you may be receiving services.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you are unable to attend a session, please provide 48 hours notice. If notice is not given, there is a late cancellation fee of $75.
