Therapy for Teens
“What’s the greater risk? Letting go of what people think – or letting go of how I feel, what I believe, and who I am?”
Brené Brown
Let's face it, being a teenager is hard. Adolescence is a season of constant change, with physical, emotional, hormonal, and social transitions happening all at once. For some, these years are remembered as some of the best of their lives. For others, they can be among the most challenging.
Today's teens are also growing up in a world that looks very different from the one many of us experienced. Between social media, academic expectations, extracurricular demands, and the pressure to fit in, it is easy for teens to feel overwhelmed, anxious, or like they are never measuring up. Over time, these stressors can begin to impact their confidence, relationships, emotional well being, and ability to manage everyday responsibilities.
Therapy provides a safe, supportive space where teens can slow down, process what they are experiencing, and build the tools they need to navigate life's challenges. Together, we will identify the factors contributing to their struggles, strengthen healthy coping skills, and help them build the confidence and resilience to not only get through the teenage years, but to truly thrive.
Worried. Overwhelmed. Stressed. Lost.
Angry. Anxious. Disconnected. Under Pressure.
